Supporting local charities

Local massage therapist Caz Sayles has been providing a range of treatments in Sheringham for several years; now she’s also decided to pledge her time to support local charities. In the next few months, she’ll be giving away special vouchers to allow charities to raffle treatment time and raise funds for their organisations.

Caz, founder & principle therapist at Karma Massage, said ‘Speaking to fundraisers around our town, I realised Karma offers a special service which could be offered as part of fund raising activities. We’ve already worked closely with a women’s group where people learned some basic techniques and some of the history of massage –we also found that it was a real social occasion for many of the attendees. The special vouchers given to charities can be redeemed in a similar way, either through individual visits to our therapy rooms or by an onsite workshop.’

Caz is hoping that charities will be able to raise hundreds of pounds for good causes through the therapy time provided: ‘Our vouchers will range in value from a half-hour session to full workshop; I’d ask that interested  charities drop us a line soon if they’d like to find out more’.

Sheringham High School and Sheringham County Primary school have already benefitted from vouchers that they raffled for fundraising projects.

Karma offers a range of treatments, depending on personal requirements and therapies after consultation. Their treatments include;

•    Holistic massage therapy
•    Remedial massage therapy
•    Deep tissue massage
•    Head, neck and shoulder massage

An initial Karma massage therapy will include a complimentary consultation to assess health, lifestyle, and to discuss treatment requirements.
